I'm interested in doing some explorations based on price movement. An example would be as follows:
"Yesterdays open greater than the high of 2 days ago and the close of 4 days ago greater than the high of 3 days ago."
Can anyone offer suggestions as to how this might be written in Metastock formula language?
I'm not quite clear as to how you get yesterdays and n days ago into a formula.

Make copious and hearty use of the Ref() function.
Cond1:=Ref(OPEN,-1)>Ref(HIGH,-2);
Cond2:=Ref(CLOSE,-4)>Ref(HIGH,-3);
RL_Indicator:=Cond1 AND Cond2;
